Exclusively private shopping experiences can be organised by the hotel at nearby Pacific Place, home to a wide array of internationally-renowned brands. The hotel is part of the Pacific Place complex, where grade A office towers, outstanding retail therapy, excellent serviced apartments and delicious dining options are housed above a major transportation interchange. Colourful Hong Kong Park is a stroll away, along with compelling events and exhibitions amongst heritage architecture in Asia Society Hong Kong.
The entrance to The Upper House is through a sculptural ‘Stone Curtains’ façade by Thomas Heatherwick that sets the scene for an upward journey through serene spaces interspersed with monolithic sculpture and captivating artwork. A strong focus on sustainability is achieved through elimination of all single-use plastics from in-room consumables and installing filtration taps for unlimited drinking water, The Upper House still manages to offer indulgently spacious, beautiful suites with natural materials and gorgeous bathrooms with every need addressed.
Crowning the building is Salisterra, a Mediterranean restaurant that captivates guests with its sophisticated cuisine and exceptional service. Chef Ricardo Chaneton draws inspiration from his time in Spain and southern France as well as his Italian heritage to create a culinary experience that reflects his heartfelt approach to cooking.
